Paul preparing the pots for tomatoes. Sister Bantam chickens aerating the soil (getting bugs)
Our family has lived on our small farm for over 40 years. The neighborhood is mostly quite with small farms along with modest residential homes. Our chickens consist of Barred Rock, Rhode Island, 1 Egger and 2 Bantams. The hens lay far more than our family can use so we offer them to our bunny customers free of charge. Our two sons are always available to give a helping hand when needed. Our family respects God's little creators, giving them loving care. Our rabbit's habitat is safe and secure as well as being clean. Having windows surrounding the barn for natural light and fresh air. Our bunnies are moved into a nursery once weaned when they have ample room and plenty of food and fresh water. On hot days we turn on misters that supply a cooling mist to each roll. They lower the temperature a good 20+ degrees. The adult rabbits have Clean Flush Trays under every cage, which is flushed out every evening into our pasture where redworms feed on the waste. Makes for great fertilizer for our garden and plants.
